The service

ImageCompressor.pics provides browser-based tools for decoding, resizing, cropping, converting, compressing, previewing, and downloading images. Core image operations run locally in the browser.

Your files and rights

You retain ownership of files you process. You are responsible for having the legal right to use, modify, and submit each file. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the site for illegal, deceptive, harmful, or abusive activity.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls.
• Use automated traffic to create fake ad impressions, clicks, analytics events, or service load.
• Misrepresent the site as affiliated with a government agency, upload portal, or third-party brand.
• Use the service to process content that you are prohibited from possessing or modifying.

Compression results

Image encoding depends on the browser, device, source content, output format, and selected settings. A result marked successful has been measured at or below the selected maximum in that browser session. You remain responsible for checking the downloaded file against all requirements of the destination system.

Compression can reduce visual quality, pixel dimensions, metadata, color-profile information, and animation. GIF, animated WebP, and multi-image HEIC inputs may be flattened to one static image.

No professional or official endorsement

The site is an independent utility. It is not a government service, identity-verification provider, legal advisor, immigration service, exam authority, or official partner of any upload portal.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, performance, or legal compliance. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser, image codec, or third-party form.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. No warranty is made that a result will meet a third party's technical, identity, quality, legal, or submission requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImageCompressor.pics and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of files, metadata, business, submissions, revenue, or opportunity arising from use of the service.

Indemnity

Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims and costs resulting from your unlawful use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
